Tampa - Clearwater - St. Petersburg (and in between!)
Here's some of my favorite paved areas to go run in the Tampa Bay!
TAMPA RIVERWALK
Check out this 4.8-mile out-and-back trail near Tampa, Florida. Generally considered an easy route. This is a popular trail for birding, road biking, and running, but you can still enjoy some solitude during quieter times of day. The trail is open year-round and is beautiful to visit anytime. Dogs are welcome, but must be on a leash.
FLATWOODS

PINELLAS TRAIL
The Pinellas Trail is Florida's nationally acclaimed linear park and "rail to trail" extending from St. Petersburg to Tarpon Springs. It is a unique greenway corridor linking some of Pinellas County’s most picturesque parks, scenic coastal areas, and residential neighborhoods. While traveling along the Pinellas Trail, outdoor enthusiasts can enjoy deep glades of ancient live oaks, trailing Spanish moss, quiet waterways, and tidal streams with all varieties of land and water birds.
The Pinellas Trail is a priceless haven in a busy, highly urbanized environment, where trail-goers safely breeze along. The construction of 10 overpasses and three underpasses allow trail-goers to travel above or underneath traffic at the busiest intersections.
It's also the home of the Pinellas Trail Challenge!

Check out this 8.4 mile out-and-back trail near Tampa, Florida. It's also where events like the Gasparilla Distance Classic take place. This is a popular trail for road biking, running, and walking.. with food nearby in Hyde Park.

Explore this 16.1-mile out-and-back trail near Tampa, Florida. This is a popular trail for "hill running," long runs, and road biking, but you can still enjoy some solitude during quieter times of day in the morning. The trail is open year-round and is beautiful to visit anytime.
OLD FORT KING TRAIL
This is a 13.3-mile out-and-back trail near Thonotosassa, Florida. The trail consists of two parts: starting from John B. Sargeant Park, a 2.2 mile paved portion heads north, along the east side of US 301. This part is easy for users of all ages and abilities. At the end of the paved path, the trail crosses US 301 and heads into the forest, continuing north to Hillsborough River State Park along an unimproved path
